FRANÇOIS-BESSON

Proposal for Edmond de Rothschild REIM The project proposes decorating the lobbies of two buildings (1960) in Meyrin with colorful murals inspired by Le Corbusier’s color palettes to bring cheerfulness and identity to the space and enhance the renovation. The proposed geometric shape is based on an existing concrete bench in the lobby that dates back to the building’s origins, thus creating historical continuity in the architecture. Each lobby is treated in a unique and customized manner.
