Proposal for the City of Geneva’s “Art in Public Spaces” Competition The “FACE A FACE” project consists of an installation of shade sails on the Place des Augustins in Geneva. Black and white portrait sails created by reusing tarpaulins used for the restoration of Broken Chair (spokesperson for Handicap International) face an artistic reinterpretation of these faces in the form of colorful patterns that enhance their humanity. The work aims to create multiple “face-to-face” encounters with social and universal significance.
