Survey: If design improved the healthcare experience?

Can we improve the well-being of patients and caregivers through custom design? Following our projects in various dermatology centers, we have been conducting anonymous surveys of patients and staff over the past few months. The answer is clear: colors and patterns have a real impact on the atmosphere and the feelings of everyone.

Less stress, more comfort, a better mood… The survey results reveal the extent to which personalized design transforms the experience of a healthcare setting.

A revitalizing working environment for caregivers

The personalized design of the walls in the dermatology center transforms the daily lives of caregivers. According to our survey, 100% of professionals appreciate this personalization, with more than half of them believing that “it changes everything”.

The contribution of color is particularly emphasized: more than 80% of respondents find that it makes a real difference in a place of care. For almost half of them, this environment makes their workspace more pleasant and distinct from other medical practices.

Beyond aesthetics, the impact on well-being is real: all caregivers report feeling a positive effect of the shapes and colors on their mood, even if it remains moderate for some.

The most appreciated elements? Colors first (63%), followed by originality, the rendering of materials and artisticstyle, which bring a unique touch to the whole.

A design that changes the patient experience

The wall designs in the dermatology centers do not go unnoticed! According to our survey, 100% of patients noticed them as soon as they arrived, demonstrating their immediate impact on the atmosphere of the place.

These decorations play a real role in the visitors’ experience. Nearly 80% of patients say they feel more at ease in this personalized environment, while more than 40% appreciate this original touch that breaks the codes of the classic medical office.

The effect on mood is also significant: 85% of respondents felt a positive influence from the shapes and colors, with more than 70% feeling it very strongly. The most popular elements? Colors came out on top, followed by patterns, artistic style and the rendering of materials, all of which contribute to creating a setting that is both welcoming and modern.

These results confirm that the design of a treatment space is not limited to its function: by playing with color and patterns, it becomes a lever for well-being for both patients and medical teams.
